Making Future Matters

Making Future Matters explores the consequentiality of our scholarly activity through examples that both shed light on and enact complex possibilities of mattering. Articulating how our words (or images, videos, design choices, and all communicative practices) matter, are matter, and contribute to the ongoing materialization of the world, this collection suggests ethical and consequential directions for our discipline.

While co-editing Making Future Matters, I worked with both senior and rising scholars, helping them to materialize digital arguments within website structure that I designed myself. This design made use of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery, as well as a number of other tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. My aim in the creation of this digital collection was to maximize accessibility, and the collection is therefore encoded using HTML5’s meaningful semantic markup.
